GCSE Results 2017
The second cohort of pupils at the Houghton Regis Academy are celebrating after receiving results for their GCSE or equivalent courses of study. The results reflect the hard work of both students and teachers, and the support of some fantastic parents.
The unvalidated data indicates that the academy has achieved results that fall within the national floor standards. In English and mathematics, early analysis suggests that pupils may have achieved progress above the national average.
Whilst all the pupils have done remarkably well, there are some that have particular cause to celebrate such as Aleisha Lanceley, who achieved 10 A* grades and one A grade.
Martin Bonner, Principal, said: “Our Year 11 students and their teachers worked exceptionally hard and these results are a reflection of that commitment. I wish all of our young people well as they move onto the next stage, whether that be further education or a job with training.”
