Y9 & 10 Students took part in Humanutopia
On Thursday 2nd November we welcomed Humanutopia, to work with our Year 9 & 10 students. The group worked on developing self-belief and self confidence in students and encouraged them to be themselves and achieve their dreams. The session focused on developing the skills and intelligence they already have and how they can apply those skills both in their academic studies and in their future employment.
The students worked on communication and how important it can be both in school and as they progress through to their working lives. Students also looked at taking responsibility for their own actions and being pro-active in achieving the things they want to achieve.
It was a great day where Houghton Regis Academy students once again showed their amazing confidence and maturity in their interactions; both with the company, staff and most importantly other pupils.
