MORE Young Driver Training Course

MORE Young Driver Training Course – (No provisional license is required to attend this course).

MORE Pre Driver – 16 - 25 year olds who have not passed their driving test
The event is hosted at Millbrook Proving Ground and gives 16 -
25 year olds the opportunity to start their driving career in a safe environment. Participants have their first driving lesson and attend theory workshops to help keep them safe when they are legally old enough to drive.

The course covers vehicle maintenance, advice on the law, distractions, collision investigation and causation factors, eco driving as well as an opportunity to drive a vehicle with an experienced driving instructor.

We run two courses on the day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

We allow one parent/carer to attend with each person booked on the course, they will receive a talk from one of our driving instructors about the new driving tests and also how to choose a driving instructor, they will also join in with the talk delivered by the police officers. Parents are also offered the opportunity to be a passenger in a 4x 4 and be driven around the off-road course by a member of the Millbrook driving team – a bonus is you will also be given tea, coffee and biscuits throughout the session!

Whilst parents are completing the above, the participant will be completing a number of workshops.
